Super Furry Animals组合准备发行专辑- -

                                      

也许2005年是Super Furry Animals的世界。这支来自威尔士的流行异族正在为三张专辑计划而工作。他们不但录制着第7张全新大碟，乐队主唱Gruff Rhys的首张个人专辑也将于3月8日发行，而一张囊括他们事业生涯的精选则将在两个计划成型之前发行。

 计划于1月25日在美国发行的《Songbook: The Singles Volume One》是Super Furry Animals乐队首张单曲精选。这张专辑将涵盖广泛，从歌迷们的最爱"Blerwytirhwng"（来自该组合1995年有着奇怪名字的细碟《Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyndrobwllantysilio-gogogochynygofod》）到"Slow Life"，再到来自他们2003年《Phantom Power》专辑的"Golden Retriever"。

这张精选辑中包括21支作品，其他曲目有："Northern Lites"、"Something for the Weekend"、"Hermann Loves Pauline"、"Play It Cool"、"If You Don't Want Me to Destroy You"及"The International Language of Screaming"。

这套精选包括了来自乐队各张大碟的单曲和非专辑收录的单曲，如"The Man Don't Give a Fuck"和"Ice Hockey Hair"。

该精选还将附送一张《Songbook》的DVD，其中的内容包括这支乐队所有的音乐录影和一部长达40分钟的记录片，剪辑了来自该乐队在美国巡演时的众多片段。
